Life Cycle of Aluminum Flowchart

Day Three

Hey it's me again here at Famous Pizza out on Chinocteague Island, VA. This place is great with its smiling southern accented indigenius natives with their lovely personalities. They keep talking about some pony festival that brings in a lot of people over the summer, I can't wait! Mmm looks like im next in the wrapping stack. I'm being used for wrapping up hot sandwiches. If only I had a digestive system; this food all seems so good! Ooh look here's another steaming cheesesteak coming my way. After the customer rolls me up and leaves me behind on their table for the busgirl, I'll be abck on my journey to the refinery to be recycled and re-casted into my next incarnation. Who knows maybe i'll end up back in Jamaica and maybe I'll get my accent back.

Day Two

Morning:
Last night da party was wild! I had so muchh fun I think I'm all partied out, mon. I am now in an Alumina Refinery going through some wacky stuff in a Bayer Chemical Process and Caustic Solution to get rid of all da impurities I've brought in from da rocks, it's even been purifying my accent, mon. I'm gonna' be so cool they're gonna be callin' me Aluminum Hydroxide and I'll look even cooler in that white powdery form.

Also, later in the day I'll be goin' through a process called Electrolysis. Sounds great right? They said I'll be going to a Reduction Plant, or a Smelter, where I'll take a bath in a 950 degree flourinated bath with high intensity electrical current going through it. In that electrolytic cell/pot will also be carbon cathodes in the bottom and positive electrodes high above interacting with the oxygen I'll be releasing. Not too long after that, I'll be taking a trip in a holding furnace and then cast into an ignot. Wow, mon, don't I have a busy day ahead of me? Primary Alumin Production sure leads a busy life phase for a simple jamaican mon like me.

Later:
I'm going to be going through a Semi-Fabrication Process called Rolling. Also, I'm going to be sold to some guys named Berkley & Jensen. I'm going to become somethin' called Aluminum Foil, mon; that's great news eh?
Hey look there they are now!

Day One

Whatta wonderful day here in Jamaica, mon. This bauxite-filled hillside is da best party spot on de island. While that pre-glass sand has da beach, I got da rocks and da ore! While being 8% of the Earth's general crust, my Bauxite buds and I have got it goin' on for sure and from de looks of it, this party won't be done for another four-hundred years!
Whoa, mon, what is dat machine doing? Whoa, we're getting napped from da party scene! Dem miners sure know how to shake up an ore party. I wonder if we're all gon' party hard enough with these guys to turn into alumina, the pure form or aluminum oxide, mon.
